Did Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo do something illegal on election day?

Shocks! Why? O.o

The "Teen King and Queen" of Philippine show business were among the first celebrities to vote today, with an ABS-CBN TV crew following them every step of the way. The two celebs endorsed Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo during the election campaign period.

These photos, however, quickly became controversial as netizens alleged that they show the two stars doing something prohibited by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) during election day.

As numerous reports have already pointed out before today, voters are not allowed to to take a photo of their ballots, marked or otherwise. In fact, last month, the COMELEC investigated incidents of overseas absentee voters who took selfies with their ballots.

Taking photos and videos inside the polling place is also an election offense. The COMELEC even reminded voters to only take selfies once they are outside the polling place.

Voters are also not allowed to have campaign materials in voting precincts,CNN Philippines reports. And as netizens pointed out based, Kathryn was wearing Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo ballers at the voting precinct.

The ABS-CBN News Twitter account also posted a photo of Kathryn showing off her ballot inside the polling place. The photo was deleted, but netizens claim they have taken a screengrab of the said picture.

How will your presidential candidate solve PH's traffic problems?

METRO MANILA- Traffic remains a persistent problem for Filipinos. But what will the next president of the country do to immediately address this issue?

The five presidential candidates offered their solutions in the third presidential debate, organized by Town Hall Debate organized by the Commission on Elections, KBP, ABS-CBN and Manila Bulletin, on Sunday (April 24) at the Phinma University of Pangasinan.

Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, who was the first to speak on the issue, said new railways should be built.

"We have to build a new railway system connecting Manila to inter-connecting provinces like Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna," she said.

She added it would also help to add an entirely new railway system connecting Manila to Sorsogon.

Santiago also said strict discipline among private and public vehicle drivers must be enforced and that the Land Transportation Office (LTO) should only issue driver's licenses to qualified people.

Roxas to Duterte: You can’t hide from the truth.

MANILA, Philippines - Liberal Party (LP) presidential candidate Manuel Roxas II yesterday accused rival bet Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of using “legal maneuverings” to hide the truth about his bank accounts.

“You can run, Mayor Duterte, but you cannot hide from the truth. You can use all the legal maneuverings to sidestep the issue but the truth will come out. The Filipino nation will not go for a liar and a thief,” Roxas said in a press briefing at the LP headquarters in Quezon City.

“Obviously Mayor Duterte, you have something to hide. What are you hiding?” he added.

Roxas noted that Duterte once challenged his rivals to sign a waiver on their bank accounts to prove their sincerity in the fight against corruption.

“He and his runningmate Sen. Alan Cayetano were the first to sign the waiver. That was their propaganda,” Roxas said.

“Now, they shuttered the process to prevent us from knowing the truth. They used legalities to hinder us from knowing the truth,” he added.
